About

Julie earned her Master's in Physical Therapy from the Univeristy of Maryland, Baltimore in 1999.

She began her career in outpatient orthopedics, treating a wide range of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, joint replacements and providing comprehensive post surgical rehabilitation to diverse patient populations.

Since joining Van Derhoof Physical Therapy in 2022 Julie has delivered personalized, in home care to clients throughout DC and Maryland.  She tailors individualized treatment plans that focus on balance, mobility and strength to help her clients enhance their overall function and elevate their quality of life.

Julie actively pursues professional development with specialized training in areas such as fall prevention, geriatrics and age-related conditions, aiming to help her clients live their fullest and healthiest lives as they age.

Julie lives on Capitol Hill with her family. In her free time she runs, strength trains, hikes and enjoys canoe camping.
